Argentina and Costa Rica

How can I even begin to explain the beauty and the diversity of both regions. Two countries (three including Uruguay), so vastly different. I was in Argentina and Uruguay for the month of May. I went to Wwoof in Capilla del Monte, Cordoba. Picture on the bottom left is of Capilla del Monte. Beautiful. Rugged. Dry. Brushy. Juan Carlos, the owner of CasaBlanca is in the photo of El Dique El Cajon. Cerro Uritorco is in the background. I had no idea that this town is famous for UFO sightings. I think they congregate over El Cerro. The town and the people are soo cool. Very laidback. The people I met were so passionate and sincere. I felt such a good honest vibe about them. The town was very small so everyone greeted you on the street. I like that.

Well, what can I say about a tropical paradise. Granted, not all places that I saw in Costa Rica were beautiful. Some places were hard. Desolate. Full of struggle. San Jose is a city of contradictions. I suppose like many cities in Latin America, there is an incredible synthesis of Spanish Colonialism and Indigenous culture with Modern era technology. Everywhere I went people were checking their Facebooks. The world felt small.  I'm in the top left picture overlooking Playa Manuel Antonio norte I think. These beaches were so gorgeous. And the water must have been 70 degrees Farenheit. Yes, very nice.

Both of these places are still influencing who I am, and the art I'm making. The levels of influence are still unrevealed. I am slowly discovering memories, or flashes or forms that have become embedded in my psyche. We'll see where it leads.
