The Man!

Carl Cox. I don't know why but Carl Cox reminds me of Burning Man. I mean, I know he's played there multiple times, but it's that dry dirty bass that I'm talking about. Yes, I just got back, and will post some photos, but first things first. Fast forward to 37:00 to hear the wubba wubba spacey bassy stuff. Sooo good. 

Picking Apples

So, we went picking apples in Watsonville with my family. It was so adorable and fun. I had to make a shirt for Khenan before we went. Here it is, on the most excited model ever. Peace.

Hardly Strictly and Decompression

These are some of the reasons why I live in San Francisco. Two beautiful events are happening this weekend. Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and Decompression. I have to admit, I have been riding the high off of Burning Man since I got back. I listen nonstop to the Opulent Temple podcasts, particularly the mix by Eliki. Bangin is a word that comes to mind. Dirty tribal groovy electro funk from the future. I guess that's a way I could describe it. If it doesn't make you dance at some point we might have to talk. I also have an idea for a sticker promotion that is directly influenced by what I saw felt did at Burning Man. This year has been so nuts, but for sure it taught me that there is another world out there.....

So, this is an example of inspiration. I saw this beautiful bicycle sculpture at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass years ago. I had to take a photo, and just look at it on occasion. It turned into a drawing, which turned into a silkscreen, and now !!!! Here we are. I wear this shirt all the time, and am really happy to share it, show it off, spread it. You know what time it is. Go bikes, and the beautiful people who ride them.

from a seedpod that I found and marveled at. I can still remember the seeds coming out of the it's casing. Kind of alien.
